Last Combat Forces Leave Iraq

A lot of you have asked over email or on the blog about what my thoughts are about this. Ill be honest --- its a hard thing to explain --- but Ill try.

The first thoughts are ones of happiness. Your glad that we have reached that stage where they can leave. Your glad that they have safely made it out of the war zone. Your glad that success continues and that all of the US Military's blood, sweat, tears, and lives were not wasted. Your glad that...

Over all this time I have seen the very FIBER of all these young men and women! Many of us have laughed, cried, and at times just sat silent, and we have do so with great Pride and Honor in each and every one of them! Some we have nor ever will 'physically' meet, but they are also just as treasured to a Grateful Nation.

There, mine and all of America's for that matter, safety and security lies! It is within their hearts and souls! I have SEEN IT! The values I have had the GREAT honor, pride and foremost privileged to share and witness over time can not be expressed in mere words Sir!

Yes Sir, I agree with the stages, I did happy then it hit me with wonder just as you stated here but, I KNOW and HAVE SEEN drive and commitment of our Soldiers! That is where ALL of America's preservation for Rights and Freedoms to ALL (for GENERATIONS!) has and does rest!

Sir, I have perfect confidence that all is well and safe in all of your generations hands! Thank you ALL for for carrying the Flag passed to you by our Veterans with such great commitment, honor and pride!
